Imperial Dalek Gun

This is the SFX Imperial Dalek Gun which can be seen on IMP2 (as referred to by Dalek-6388) Used in an explosive scene in the episode Remembrance of the Daleks.

Originally auctioned by John Nathan-Turner in 1989 during the “A Day At The Forum” convention, and was held in the school which was used for filming of Remembrance of the Daleks.

The original auction winner then sold the gun in auction on the 1st July 2006.

We purchased it for a client of ours from the winner of the auction in 2006 and have now retained this back into our collection.

Screen Used / Exhibition Dalek

Used on screen in the 50th Anniversary Trailer, Doctor Who Exhibition Cardiff, London Excel, Tom Baker Photoshoot, and various promotional photoshoots.

Although only a quick trailer appearance on screen, it can be classed as an official screen used Dalek, as was seen and used in the official BBC Doctor Who 50th Anniversary trailer.

Sontaran Ship Filming Miniature – The Two Doctors

A very rare opportunity to obtain an original production used Sontaran filming miniature ship from The Two Doctors. Obtained from a BBC Visual Effects member, this falls into many great categories from a production used ship, sontaran related and classic who. Staring both Patrick Troughton and Colin Baker, the Sontaran ships were used in multiple scenes throughout the story. Measures roughly 2.5″ in width, including a metal thread where a fixing was secured to the ship to make it turn.

Dragonfire Kane Coin – Doctor Who

From the 1987 story Dragonfire, this is one of the production used “Kane” coins measuring 44mm in diameter. Made from vacuum formed plastic and one sided with a shallow dish to the other, held in place is a piece of fabric that absorbed SFX chemicals that gave the appearance that the coin was smoking in the story.

Tardis Lamp TYJ Promotional

This was used on the screen used TYJ Tardis in it’s years of being used for promotional purposes, it does not include the fresnel but is still an iconic symbol of the Tardis. Please note that although this was on a screen used Tardis, this Tardis lamp section was not screen used, it was made during the restoration of the Tardis in the 90’s and was then used for promotional purposes for the BBC.
